concord patriots day battle reenactments 2026 photoThe peace of the Concord countryside will once more be shattered by the sounds of marching feet and musketry as British and Colonial Re-enactors bring the fateful morning of April 19, 1775 to life in this commemoration of “the shot heard round the world”.

Enjoy a week's worth of events and activities in honor of Patriot's Day along Battle Road and North Bridge.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

Celebrate Patriots’ Day with immersive Revolutionary War experiences in historic Concord, MA. Meet reenactors, explore historic homes, and witness iconic battles come to life.

Dates: April 12–21, 2025

Location: Various sites along Battle Road, Concord, MA

April 12 – Prescott’s Ride & The Lincoln Alarm
Time: 6–9 pm
Location: Hartwell Tavern, Lincoln, MA
Highlights:
Follow the story of Paul Revere’s midnight ride
Experience living history reenactments
Parking: Available at Hartwell Tavern

April 12–21 – Battle Road Programs
Time: 10 am–4 pm daily
Location: Wright Tavern, Concord, MA
Highlights:
Explore Revolutionary War history through interactive exhibits
Meet reenactors portraying both Patriots and British soldiers
Special British Spy Mission interactive program

April 13 – Barrett Farm Open House & Programs
Time: 1–4 pm
Location: Colonel James Barrett House, Concord, MA
Highlights:
Hands-on artillery demonstrations
Explore the historic Barrett home
Special historian presentation (registration required)

April 17 – Patriot Vigil
Time: 7:45–8:30 pm
Location: North Bridge, Concord, MA
Highlights:
Lantern procession along historic sites
Poetry readings and reflection ceremony
